The Arc of Tippecanoe County is taking Camper Applications for Camp SPARKS 2016. Jasmine our camp director is busy planning some great field trips and activities. We need to get the word out to everyone so we can have a great camp turnout this year. Please share the camp flyer with anyone you know who could benefit from this great summer camp.

The Camp Application is also available on our website. Thanks for your continued support of The Arc of Tippecanoe County and Camp SPARKS. Full page Camp Flyer

Aktion Club worked on care packages for their adopted Sailors on the USS Harry Truman in February. They sent snacks, photos and cards to each sailor. Aktion Club continues to work towards their 2016 goal of “Service above Self”. Come join us on the third Thursday of the month at Elmwood Church of Christ at 4:30 pm. The meeting lasts an hour. Good Work Aktion Club!!!

Good Afternoon Adult Recreation Members,

As most of you know by now The Arc of Tippecanoe County is hosting a Prom “Once Upon a Dream” on Friday, May 13th at the YWCA. Thanks to the hard work of our prom committee we will also have a “Gown Town”—this event will have free clothes for guys and girls to wear to the prom. We have several dresses in multiple sizes and guys shirts and ties.

“Gown Town” will be Monday, April 18th at Judi’s Catering located at 101 Plaza Street in Lafayette. It is off of old 231 across from the old Payless building. It is the second building on the left on Plaza Drive. The hours will be 10 am to 2:00 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm.

We cannot promise to have something to fit everyone and when things are gone they are gone. If you have prom dresses or men’s dress clothes you would like to donate please let me know. We will take donations at the event on the 18th. I would highly recommend arriving early for the best selection.

If you have any questions please call me at 476-3277. I apologize for the late notice about this event. I was out sick last week.

Thanks!
Milissa
