I am so excited to share the information about our venture…Tippy Arc’s Club 53. This is our night club for folks with developmental disabilities. It will feature a bar with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks- this month’s featured drinks Strawberry Daquiri’s and Shirly Temples. We will also feature music with live bands, DJ’s, dance lessons- this month we will have everyone’s favorite DJ Joe Davenport from Playback DJ providing the music for the evening. We will also have games, special activities and themes- this month we will have games set up. Tippy Arc’s Club 53 will meet monthly at the same time and location but each event will feature different themes, drinks and activities.
Tippy Arc’s Club 53 will be held monthly on the last Saturday from 6:30 to 9 pm. The Admission cost is $10 and includes one drink. Additional Drinks can be purchased for $3 each. The Club will be held at Bauer Community Center. It is open to all Arc members, friends and family members. Support staff and Family Caregivers get into this event free and can purchase drinks for $5 at the bar. You do not have to RSVP to attend the event.
We will also have a BBQ Pulled Pork Dinner provided by D&R Market in the park beside Bauer from 5 to 6 pm. The meal includes a Pulled BBQ Pork sandwich, macaroni and cheese and Baked Beans. The meals will be $15 each. If you would like to just pick up dinners to support Club 53 we can do to go only orders if you request them in advance. RSVP for meals only so we know how many to order This is a fundraiser to support Club 53. Bring a blanket to eat on in the park beside Bauer if you are staying for the dance.
I am also looking for Sponsors for Club 53 and volunteers. We are looking for a Bartender, Photographer and other volunteers. This would be a great group volunteer activity. Call/text or email Milissa at 765-476-3277 or director@arcoftippecanoe.org
