The Annual Arc Valentines Dance hosted by NSSLHA- Purdue’s Speech, Language and Hearing Association will be Saturday, February 8th from 5:30 to 8 pm at Bauer Community Center. The admission cost is $10. This flyer has all the information.  Valentines Dance 2020-MLO

If you do not have an email associated with your search engine, you will need to copy and paste or manually type in this email address rsvp@arcoftippecanoe.org into your email address section. The email account does work.

 

• RSVP and payment are required for admission to the event.
• Staff and/or family members do not have to pay to attend this event if they do not participate in craft or snacks. When you rsvp to rsvp@arcoftippecanoe.org you will receive an email confirmation of your reservation, if you do not please email again.
• Registration will close at 6:00 and the doors will be locked due to security requirements of the Center.

Hi All!

You asked for it and I am pleased to announce our new Caregiver Support Group for Tippy Arc Members! This support group is a closed Facebook Group off of our Arc Facebook Page. We have 20 members currently. You can go to our Facebook Page The Arc of Tippecanoe County and click the groups tab. This will take you to a page to answer a few easy questions and get approval to join the group.

The Board decided to go with Caregiving Supports after receiving lots of calls from Caregivers with questions about jobs, housing, online bullying or catfishing and several other issues. We understand that the experts on these issues and lots of other issues, are the Caregivers in our membership. This group will also help us with upcoming Education Programs and Advocacy Efforts. This group was started in early January, we already know that we need to get involved with the DSP- Direct Service Professionals- work the Arc of Indiana is doing this legislative session. Comments and experiences from the people experiencing the problems is what makes people listen.

I am pleased to announce our first Arc event for 2020. We will be Bowling at Arrowhead on Friday, January 31st from 6 to 8 pm. The cost will be $10 and includes 2 hours of bowling, shoe rental and Nacho Bar with Drinks. You can pay at the door with cash/check or use your debit card to prepay online. Just use our donate now tab on this website. Call or Text Milissa at 765-476-3277 with questions or for more information.

The RSVP deadline is Wednesday January 29th by 5 pm to rsvp@arcoftippecanoe.org with the name of the member/s attending along with the number of staff/family/friends attending WHO WILL BE EATING or BOWLING. If Staff are not eating we do not need the number attending as part of the RSVP. We order food and pay based on the number of RSVP’s Wednesday.

Bowling invitation 2020

The 2019 Holiday Dinner Dance- Gather together for Thanks and Giving- will be Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at the Bauer Community Center gym. The cost of admission is a donation of a hat, gloves, mittens and/or a non-perishable food item or $10. These items will be donated to our friends at Lafayette Transitional Housing Service to help them through this very cold November.

Space is limited to RSVP to rsvp@arcoftippecanoe.org by Wednesday, November 20th so we have enough food and seating for everyone.
