I am pleased to announce the Education Committee will be having our first meeting of 2019 on Thursday evening at 4:30 at the OPG offices on 36th Street. We will be talking about our first event…the Resource Fair March 13th from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Tippecanoe Downtown Library. We will also be working on our new project for 2019 Caregiver Support Services.

If you would like to be part of this committee, or would like more information about it, please come to the meeting or contact Milissa at director@arcoftippecanoe.org  . I would love to see a few more caregivers and members as part of this important committee.

We did not get enough interest in the event Sunday to meet our 20 person minimum so the event is cancelled. The tickets at the door for the game are still $5 if you would like to attend. We will be sending refunds to those who prepaid for the event.

We are looking into another Purdue sporting event for 2019. Please share any suggestions you may have with Milissa at director@arcoftippecanoe.org

Thanks!

The Tippy Arc has the opportunity to attend the Purdue Women’s Basketball game on Sunday, February 17th at 2:00 pm for $5 per person. This will include a trip down to the court after the game with a group picture and shooting free throws. This is also the annual PINK OUT for cancer awareness. The first thousand people get a free Hammer Down Cancer t-shirt.

I apologize for the late notice of this invitation. February has slipped away from me and I thought we had another week. ☹

We will take RSVP’s now to rsvp@arcoftippecanoe.org starting now. Please DO NOT respond to this email with an RSVP.

We also need to prepay for tickets. The tickets will be available for pick up on Wednesday at The Arc Office- Greenbush Arnett Clinic Room 320- from 3 to 6 pm.

We need 20 people to purchase tickets to make this event happen!!
